In an effort to breach outside of my normally sweet and childlike films; I tried to create something eerie by throwing all my stress, anxieties, and fears into this short but hopefully interesting animation.
The Inspiration
The first part of the process involved finding all the things that scared or made me nervous as a child. A lot of this came from early internet videos and books that I remember reading like "Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark." Abstract fears were also thought about, like abnormally fast movements.

Overall a really fun project to work on that also ended up being a fun challenge, trying to complete a short in 1 week. Trying out something more horror-related also proved to be really exciting, and has encouraged me to continue trying to push myself in new directions that I haven't tried before!
